Furthermore, method for the non-destructive assay of a radioactive waste package (2), comprising the steps: providing a radioactive waste package (2); moving a spectrometer (3) fixed to an at least four-axis, preferably six-axis, articulated robotic arm (4) into a measurement position; and acquiring measurement data with the spectrometer (3).
