A big data technology-based intelligent livestock breeding management system and method, which relate to the technical field of intelligent livestock breeding. The system comprises a data acquisition module, a data transmission module, a farm computing center and a cloud computing center; the data acquisition module acquires data of six factors determining the level of livestock breeding and transmits same to the farm computing center; the farm computing center then transmits the data of the six factors to the cloud computing center by means of the data transmission module; the cloud computing center establishes the data of the six factors into a 5+1 animal value model for processing and feeds back the processing result to the farm computing center; and the farm computing center transmits a control instruction to control a farm terminal device. In the big data technology-based intelligent livestock breeding management system and method, the optimal breeding management solution is fed back to an intelligent breeding farm terminal device by means of the cloud computing center, thereby implementing the intelligent breeding management of livestock.
