Disclosed is a pressure isolation device for preventing steam from penetrating same, the pressure isolation device comprising a U-shaped pipe inlet section (1), a U-shaped pipe cooling section (9) and a U-shaped pipe outlet section (2). The U-shaped pipe inlet section (1), the U-shaped pipe cooling section (9) and the U-shaped pipe outlet section (2) are connected in sequence; and the U-shaped pipe inlet section (1) is connected to a liquid refrigerant water outlet of a high-pressure cavity, and the U-shaped pipe outlet section (2) is connected to a liquid refrigerant water inlet of a low-pressure cavity. Fluid in the U-shaped pipe cooling section is subjected to cooling and heat exchange, such that a steam penetrating phenomenon is prevented from occurring on the pressure isolation device. By means of the temperature of a working medium in a U-shaped pipe being reduced to below a flash temperature, it can be guaranteed that the steam penetrating phenomenon does not occur in the pipe, such that the refrigeration COP of an existing absorption machine can be improved.
