Disclosed is a programming application, and more particularly, to a programming application stored in a recording medium to program and test a microcontroller unit by using a mobile terminal of a user regardless of surrounding conditions, and a programming method of a micro controller unit by using the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, tasks such as MCU programming, testing, and the like can be performed regardless of current environments by preparing an application for performing an MCU programming procedure in a mobile terminal, such as a smartphone, and performing the programming procedure according to the execution of the application through a conversion device connecting the mobile terminal and a target board having different communication methods.
