A method for augmenting a facial emotion of a baby according to the present invention is performed through an operation server communicating with a camera device equipped with a sound input unit and a camera module and provided at a designated position. The method comprises: a first step of registering and storing baby facial expression pattern information, matching relationship information between baby emotion items, facial expression-based emotional state determination information, virtual object data, and virtual object matching information in an operation database; a second step of receiving encoded video data and audio data using the camera device and storing and managing the same in a storage area of a storage medium; a third step of reading designated video data and recognizing baby facial recognition information; a fourth step of determining a baby emotion item based on the facial expression-based emotional state determination information; a fifth step of calculating a baby emotional state value; a sixth step of generating baby emotional state information for each emotion item; a seventh step of confirming virtual object data matching the baby emotional state information for each emotion item; an eighth step of enhancing a designated part on a facial area of the baby to correspond to the baby emotional state information for each emotion item; and a ninth step of providing transmission data comprising augmented video data to an application or IPTV of a wireless terminal of the user.
