Disclosed are a social intelligence evaluation method and a device therefor. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the social intelligence evaluation method comprises the steps of: generating a plurality of detailed video clips by dividing an observation video sequence which has photographed social interaction behavior of an evaluation target based on behavior recognition; and calculating an evaluation score based on the similarity between a reference value (GROUND TRUTH) generated based on social interaction analysis and the plurality of detailed video clips, to evaluate the social intelligence of the evaluation target.
