According to one embodiment of the present invention, in a method of generating a continuity for producing a webtoon conducted by a server, the method of generating continuity for the webtoon comprises: (a) a step of dividing each cut scene of a plurality of cut scenes configuring a webtoon image into a line area and a character area, and recognizing them; (b) a step of recognizing a first line included in the line area, recognizing a skeleton image of the character included in the character area, and mapping and storing the first line and the skeleton image; (c) a step of receiving a second line from a user terminal; (d) a step of searching the pre-stored first line having a preset value of similarity to the second line or higher; and (e) a step of providing the skeleton image, which is stored by being mapped with the first line as a result of the search, to the user terminal. The skeleton image is an image which shows information on the silhouette of the body of the recognized character or the features of the face of the character. The present invention is to provide an apparatus and a method of generating a continuity for a webtoon, which can realize an environment wherein even those who are not specialists can also easily produce a continuity.
