Based on the relevant state information, prediction information on the amount of use and capacity for each resource optimized through an optimization algorithm is generated, and the result of the best service driving environment considering economics is generated through comparative analysis using the state information and the prediction information. The present invention relates to a service provision system and method for service optimization operation management and decision support that can provide support for decision-making for service optimization, and support automation of service optimization. The present invention organically combines and analyzes the operating points of the technical department, such as performance, capacity, and failure, and the management points of the business department, such as sales, subscribers, and costs, in operating IT services, and provides a plurality of resources necessary for providing services. The results for optimization are presented, but these results are provided as the basis for economic analysis, so that the changes in resources for service optimization required by the technical department are reflected as much as possible, and the changes in these resources satisfy the allowable profit or loss for the business department. By doing so, it has the effect of supporting easy decision-making on the optimization of the service operation environment that can satisfy both the business department and the technology department as much as possible.
