Image auto-regressive interpolation device and method performs diagonal interpolation for dark spots and vertical interpolation for gray spots in the GPU parallel optimization section to achieve better spatial detail and edge clarity. Since diagonal or vertical interpolation is independent of each other in the regression model, parallel optimization by CUDA is possible.
