The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an adsorption electrode and an adsorption electrode manufactured thereby. More specifically, provided are a method for manufacturing an adsorption electrode and an adsorption electrode manufactured thereby. The method comprises the following steps: producing reduced graphene oxide; generating a complex comprising the reduced graphene oxide and bilayer hydroxide; and generating the adsorption electrode comprising the complex. According to the present invention, used adsorption electrodes can be recycled quickly and environmentally.
