The position in the FAD2 gene of soybean cells is cleaved in a site-directed manner to generate a break in the FAD2 gene, and then the nucleic acid molecule of interest is randomly incorporated into the break, thereby disrupting the gene within the FAD2 locus, editing the gene or modifying the gene. A method of stacking and a composition therefor are disclosed.
