The present invention relates to a biomarker for determining the origin of soybeans and a method for determining the origin of the soybean. If the biomarker for determining the origin of soybeans of the present invention is used, it is possible to determine the origin of soybeans cultivated in four domestic provinces using the change in the level of metabolites in soybeans. The biomarker of the present invention can be used as an important tool to crack down on acts of deceiting the country of origin and taking unreasonable profits by being used for actual crackdown, which can contribute to establishing market order of domestically distributed agricultural products and securing consumer trust.
