FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Method of treating nonresectable and potentially resectable metastases of colorectal cancer in the liver involves high-power brachytherapy with a radiation source ofIr on an afterloading system. Under the helical computed tomography navigation with the preliminary intravenous introduction of the iodine-containing contrast in amount of 50–100 ml or under ultrasonic guidance in the metastatic center, introducers are introduced every 5–8 mm for high-power brachytherapy with diameter of 6 Fr. Control is performed by means of spiral computed tomography with thickness of cuts of 5 mm, after which the introducers are fixed to the patient's skin, wherein the position of the introducers is taken as a coordinate system x, y, z and encoded using the BrachyVision software as a reference point system, then high-power brachytherapy is performed with radiation source Irwith activity of 10 Ci, and in one session on a metastatic center dose is 20 Gy, after which the introducers are removed, and the puncture canals are sealed with haemostatic glue, with further control every 6 weeks and then every 3 months for next 3 years.EFFECT: technical result of the declared invention consists in increasing the percentage of partial or complete regression of metastatic centers.1 cl, 3 dwg, 2 tbl, 1 ex
