FIELD: veterinary science.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary science and represents an agent for treating and preventing postpartum diseases in cows, containing propylene glycol, characterized by that it additionally contains false hellebore tincture, nettle tincture, prepared from nettle herb and alcohol 70 % in ratio of 1:10, infused during 7 days at room temperature, yarrow tincture, prepared from yarrow and alcohol 70 % in ratio of 1:10, infused for 7 days at room temperature, in following ratio of components per 100 ml: nettle tincture – 15.0 ml, yarrow tincture – 15.0 ml, false hellebore tincture – 2.5 ml, propylene glycol – the rest.;EFFECT: declared agent stimulates uterine contraction ensured by content of false hellebore tincture, which increases effectiveness of prevention and treatment of postnatal diseases in cows.;1 cl
