Equipment includes module (3) for generating deterioration patterns of characteristics to form a degradation pattern indicating signal intensity distributions for the measured signals and a phase of alternating voltage, module (4) for calculating histograms for calculating a gradient density vector of signals in each of points of distribution of a pattern of degradation of characteristics and calculation for each of different ranges of phase ranges, from the calculated histogram gradient vector in the direction of the signal density gradient in the relevant phase range, module (5) for forming feature vectors for forming a feature vector, in which values of histogram sample elements are aligned for each of the phase ranges, and module (9) for identifying reasons for deterioration of characteristics for searching from among vectors of attributes of a feature vector similar to a feature vector formed by module (5) and outputting a cause of deterioration of characteristics associated with a similar feature vector.;EFFECT: possibility of identifying deterioration of equipment without using a neural network.;7 cl, 11 dwg
