FIELD: electrical equipment.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, to power equipment for compensation of capacitance currents of earth fault in medium voltage electrical grids. Arc-quenching earthing reactor with capacitor control of working current includes windings located on rods of rod or armored rod magnetic conductor with non-magnetic gaps. It is equipped with controlled load elements Cn and Rn, connected in parallel and connected to secondary winding of reactor. Its primary winding is connected to neutral of electrical grid, and secondary winding is installed between parts of primary winding.;EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of compensation of capacitance currents, accuracy of adjustment of circuit of zero sequence of network, reliability and energy efficiency, in reduction of level of higher harmonic components in current of earth fault.;7 cl, 7 dwg
