The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a bracelet (5) made of synthetic material for a watch (6) or a jewel comprising at least one strand (5a), the method comprising a step of producing by molding or extruding a band made of synthetic material intended to form said at least strand (5a). The method then comprises a step of mass polishing of said strip. The invention also relates to a synthetic material bracelet for a watch (6) or a jewel comprising at least one strand (5a) formed from an extruded or injected band, said at least strand (5a) has a roughness Rp of less than or equal to 3 µm, and preferably less than or equal to 2 µm.
