Improving stability and purity and increasing the bioavailability of human milk oligosaccharides or precursors or mixtures thereof

Spray-dried neutral oligosaccharide from human milk (HMO) or a spray-dried neutral HMO mixture with improved stability at longer storage at temperatures over 25oC, produced by a process comprising the following steps:(a) the provision of the neutral HMO or the neutral HMO mixture in an aqueous solution at a concentration of at least 30-60 WA%; and(b) subsequent drying of the aqueous solution by at least 90%,preferably 95%,remove the water and provide the neutral HMO or neutral HMO mixture with a higher glass transition temperature (Tg) of at least 40oC, the spray-dried neutral HMO or the spray-dried neutral HMO mixture comprising one or more, preferably two or more neutral HMOs, selected from the group; consisting of LNT, LNnT, LNH, LNnH, para-LNH, para-LnH, 2'-FL, 3-FL, DFL, LNFP I, LNFP II, LNFP III, LNFP V, F-LnH, DF-LNH I, DF-LNH II, DF-LNH I, DF-para-LNH and DF-para-LNNH.
