The present invention relates to a method for screening compounds with anti-inflammatory effect on the basis of the DACT3 protein. In particular, the method consists in selecting compounds having an activating effect on the protein DACT3 or capable of increasing the expression thereof. The present invention also relates to new therapeutic strategies for chronic inflammatory bowel disease.
