The invention relates to a solid whitening composition comprising at least one chlorinated bleaching agent and detergent selected from dichloroisocyanate and at least one optical whitening agent, and the pH value is between 5-9. The dissolution time of the aqueous solution of the composition is 1 second to 30 minutes. The invention also relates to the application of the composition in fabric bleaching while ensuring the protection, disinfection and washing of fabric fibers.
