The present invention relates to a food supplement which can be administered orally in the form of syrup comprising basic components comprising from 30% to 50% by weight of agave syrup, at least 7.5% by weight of prebiotic acacia fibers and from 5 to 15% by weight of at least one substance for physiological or nutritional purposes relative to the total weight of the food supplement. The invention also relates to a process for preparing said food supplement and its non-therapeutic use. The invention relates to the field of food supplements and in particular for oral administration in the form of syrup.
