The invention relates to a device (1) for portioning sausages from a continuous sausage formed from a flexible casing containing a food product, the device comprising a rotating plate (10) around of which the continuous sausage is intended to be driven, the rotating plate being provided with a succession of cutting members (2) around the rotating plate, the cutting members being driven by the rotation of the rotating plate in a movement back and forth between an open position and a cutting position, characterized in that for each cutting member the device twisting the hose between a first gripping member (31) upstream of the cutting member and a second gripping member (32) downstream of the cutting member.
