Device arranged for the production of H2 and/or 02 gas and/or HHO gas and/or electric and/or thermal energy, comprising a vessel (1), electrodes (3) extending in the vessel and connected to connection terminals (4), and an H2 outlet (5) and/or 02 outlet (6) and/or HHO outlet. The device comprises an electrical power supply system (7) to supply electric power (P) to said electrodes, arranged to supply electric power at varying frequencies fp (8) and to fix the frequency fp (8) as soon as a predetermined status is reached, and said production process has been reached. The power to the electrodes after said predetermined status has been reached is stopped or reduced. The predetermined status may comprise a rise in temperature of the vessel from 0.5-3.0oC per second. The frequency fp may range from 1.5-2.5kHz or 10-20kHz. The conversion rate of the liquid in the vessel to a gas may be 60 l per minute.
