High thread count fabric comprising 5-end sateen weave with number of warp threads (EPI) comprising at least about 65% of the number of weft threads (PPI) per one inch of fabric. The fabric may be used to make a high thread count flat woven bedding product. Also claimed is a method of making the fabric by setting up a weaving machine with shed height and backrest adjustment, comprising an index value from 2.2-2.5 by using yarn of higher density. In order to control vibration in warp sheet and warp breakage in higher thread density, the method may select fabric level 2. Also claimed is a high density warp fiber fabric with thread count of at least 400 and surface index between 1.95-2.20. Also claimed is a method of fabricating a high density warp fiber fabric comprising selecting warp and weft fibers for weaving, configuring a weaving machine including setting weave configuration as 5-end sateen weave and weaving the fibers into unfinished high thread count fabric and finishing the high thread count fabric.
