The present invention relates to a biomarker for determining the origin of soybean and a method for determining the origin using the biomarker. When the biomarker for determining the origin of soybean of the present invention is used, it is possible to discriminate the origin of soybeans cultivated in seven provinces in Korea by using a change in the level of metabolites in soybeans. The biomarker of the present invention can be used as an important tool to crack down on the act of taking an unfair advantage by deceiving the country of origin by using it for actual crackdown, which can contribute to establishing the market order of domestically distributed agricultural products and securing consumers' trust.
