The subject of the invention is an ammunition (1) for non-lethal protection of a platform, such as a vehicle or a structure, an ammunition comprising means, such as a base (3), intended to allow it to be releasably secured to a base of shooting solidarity of the platform. This ammunition is characterized in that it comprises a case (2) enclosing a container (8) which contains a tear gas, under pressure or dispersible by a propellant gas, case closed at its front by a plug (9) which carries at least one diffusion nozzle (10) connected to the container (8) via a remotely controllable valve (11) which is intended to be actuated from the firing station, after fixing the ammunition thereon , and via a control interface (7) which cooperates with the base of shooting. The invention also relates to a non-lethal protection device implementing such an ammunition.
