Multi electrical machine pre-design tool with error handling and machine specific advanced graphical design aid features based on Modelica

摘要

This paper presents a design tool for Induction \udMachines, Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machines, \udExternally Excited Synchronous Machines and \udSwitched Reluctance Machines. This software, based \udon Modelica language, is able to provide full \uddimensioning (cross and axial section measures) and \udoperation characteristics according to mechanical and \udelectrical requirements set as inputs. The tool is able to \udperform error handling, which informs a designer about \udunfeasible designs and gives clues about the possible \uderrors. Both aspects of the tool GUI and scripts provide \udhelp files and code explanation in order to re-use the \udtool and improve library’s functionalities.
