This paper presents the design of a sliding mode\udcontrol strategy through an input decoupling of an hybrid\udfuel cell based system. The hybrid system is composed by a\udfuel cell stack and a Supercapacitors module, connected to a\udsingle DC bus. A continuous conduction mode MIMO model is\udconsidered and the control strategy for the system is discussed.\udThe latter is developed using a diffeomorphism to decouple\udthe control inputs to surface interactions. Finally, an adaptive\udswitching function for the two inputs is designed to robustly\udreject system perturbations and parameters variations. The\udcontrol strategy is then evaluated through extensive simulation,\udconsidering strong load demand variations.
