Fragmented Voices: The Personal Archives of the Advisors of Inlandsche Zaken, 1899-1942

摘要

This research on tracing and locating the archives of Inlandsche Zaken is going to reveal multidimensional perspectives of the advisors in managing the native and Muslim affairs in the Dutch East Indies in the 19th-20th centuries. The research findings show that each of these advisors, based on their personal records, had different understandings on their political point of view on the native and religious affairs. The different perspectives and voices of the advisors found in their personal collection demonstrate their real attitude in conducting their tasks.
