Arbetsmiljön i skolan och välbefinnande ur ett elevperspektiv En uppföljningsstudie av 13-14 åriga flickor och pojkar inom projektet Skolmiljö 2000
Environment at School and well being from a Pupil Perspective : A follow-up Survey Based on Completion of a Questionnaire among Aged 13-14 Girls and Boys The Swedish Work Environment Act includes the pupil the same way as it includes the employees. The Internal Control provides a responsibility for employers to annually ensure and certify that the activities concerning health and safety are performed in accordance with requirements specified in The Work Environment Act. "School Environment 2000" is a model, based on completion of a questionnaire for internal control. The purpose of the project was to test the questionnaire, which was administrated on two occasions, with an interval of one year. Complementary information about e.g. pupil's health state and negative afficiency were gathered on each occasion. The results shows that from 7th to 8th grade, the pupils experienced more psychosocial load and stress, and were more critical to the school environment. The conclusion is that the model may initiate discussion processes and interventions activities among pupils and that pupils are an important resource that should be used when addressing the school environment.
