摘要

Telemedicine systems have been steadily increasing in number and scale over the pastdecades. This increasing trend intensifies the need for telemedicine in the era of nationalhealth care system. The increasing size of distributed telemedicine systems createsproblem of data integration, vendor lock-in and interoperability.In this thesis, we state the above problems and solutions of current telemedicine systemby showing an example of Tele-Wound TM architecture. To achieve this goal, we have setof requirements from a company named as A-B medicine in order to build a telemedicineapplication for them. Those set of requirements will be named as Tele-Wound TMapplication, which is the part of telemedicine system. This thesis presents mainlyarchitecture of Tele-Wound TM which is being build as Service Oriented Architecture(SOA), because we believe that by the adoption of SOA several problems in today’stelemedicine system can be resolved. Currently several resources are complaining thatusers become limited to a single vendor due to announcement of new technology, so thisthesis can at least presents the few solution of users problem.We provide a detailed description of requirement of Tele-Wound TM system, and thenproceed to design of an architecture that could be used as an example to other relatedapplication. The particular architecture that we have designed is comprises of several webservices.In addition to the specific results that we present, we feel that the collective wisdomprovided by the theory, requirement, evaluation and discussion throughout this thesisprovides valuable insight for others in the same area of research.
