Machinability of Wood (I) : On defects of Cut Surface in Wood Machining

摘要

The object of this study is to clarify the cutting mechanism and the defects of cut surface in various cutting processes of wood. This paper presents the effect of tool cutting conditions and workpiece cutting conditions on the defects of cut surface. The defects of cut surface were observed and estimated in various cutting processes.
