Fresh water fish culture has made rapidudstrides in this country following the researchesudcarried out by the Central InlandudFisheries Research Institute and the developmentudof the technique of composite fishudculture. It has been demonstrated thot audseveral fold increase in yield is possible byudmixed farming of Ihdian and exotic varietiesudof carps.
