Trawling is one of the most efficient methods ofudcatching fish world over and is also the most importantudhuman intervention causing physical disturbance to theudworld’s continental shelves, and consequently, the physicaluddestruction of ecosystems (Jennings and Kaiser, 1998).udTrawling is targeted at specific groups of organisms, andudtrawl net being a non-selective gear, catches everythingudavailable in its towing path.
