A Lab on a chip device for rapid identification of Avian Influenza virus by on-chip sample preparation and solid phase PCR

摘要

In this paper, we describe a novel lab-on-a-chip device for fast AIV screening byintegrating DNA microarray-based solid phase PCR on microchip. The device canhandle viral samples in an automatic way. Moreover, multiplex PCR and sequencedetection are done in one-step, which greatly simplifies the assay and reduces processing time from days to less than 2 hours.
