摘要

The authors investigated the data of the various cupola operations, especially about the blast volume, the blast pressurre and the temperature of the tapped metal, etc, and obtained the following results. Namely, according to the increase of the blast volume, the blast pressure is raised and the content of CO2 in the combustion gas is increased, and therefore the combustion ratio is great, and the melting velocity becomes speedy. When the coke ratio is large, the melting velocity becomes slow but the temperature of the molten metal is high. If the moisture content in the blast is rather plenty, the temperature of the molten metal has the tendency to be dropped. The authors calculated these data of the different fumaces and the different operations into the unit value, and recognized that they have the same inclination to the fixed operation of a fixed furnace.
