The purpose of this study is to clarify how to determine more convenient or compact bank angle of the 10 cylinder V-type engine. Generally the total number of combinations of cylinder arrangement has a large number with the increase of cylinder. Therefore we usually requires tedious calculations to obtain the analytical result. But the amount of calculation are decreased by selecting reasonably cylinder arrangement of straight 5 cylinders constituting V-type 10 cylinder engine. In this report, we analyze the exciting moment by the latter method. As a result, there is not how to reduce perfectly an unbalance moment of the engine, but we make it clear that the practical engine with some new bank angles is found out. And their results agree with them by the former method.
