On the Stroboscope with the Fluorescent Lamp

摘要

As the ordinary st roboscopes utilize the neon lamp or the mercury discharge tube, the stroboscope with the fluorescent lamp is studied in this paper. I experimented the stroboscope lighted by the alternating current whose wave form is sinusoidal, rectangular and pulse. The lamp is most bright when it is lighted by the pulse, moreover the contrast of the stroboscope image is sharpest in this case.
