摘要

Determining the angular momentum compensation temperature of ferrimagnets isan important step towards ferrimagnetic spintronics, but is not generally easyto achieve it experimentally. We propose a way to estimate the angular momentumcompensation temperature of ferrimagnets. We find a linear relation between thecompensation temperatures of the magnetization and angular momentum in GdFeCoferrimagnetic materials, which is proved by theoretically as well asexperimentally. The linearity comes from the power-law criticality and isgoverned by the Curie temperature and the Land\'e g factors of the elementscomposing the ferrimagnets. Therefore, measuring the magnetization compensationtemperature and the Curie temperature, which are easily assessableexperimentally, enables to estimate the angular momentum compensationtemperature of ferrimagnets. Our study provides efficient avenues into anexciting world of ferrimagnetic spintronics.
