Simultaneous Microscopic Description of 16O(gamma,n) and 16O(gamma,p) Including Delta Degrees of Freedom

The photonuclear reactions 16O(gamma,n)15O and 16O(gamma,p)15N aresimultaneously described within a coupled channels framework based on acontinuum shell model formulation. The inclusion of Delta(1232) isobar degreesof freedom improves the description of the available data, however, completequantitative agreement is still lacking.
