Dolgozatunk célja élelmiszergazdasági exportunk teljesítményének értékelése és a kivitelünkudútjában álló lehetséges akadályok azonosítása volt. A konstans piaci részesedés (CMS) elemzés szerintudszinte kivétel nélkül a piaci nagyság növekedése hozta az exportbővülést. A piaci összetétel hatásuda vizsgált országokban többnyire pozitív de kis értékű, míg a versenyhatás jelentősen negatív volt.udVagyis a magyar kivitel kevésbé tudott alkalmazkodni a célpiacok keresletének változásához. Az isudtanulságos eredménye kutatásunknak, hogy a fejlett nyugat-európai országok nemzeti műszaki jogszabályokudsűrűségének rangsora és a kereskedelmi logisztika hatékonyságának (költség, időtartam ésuddokumentumszám) rangsora közel ellentétes egymással, vagyis a külkereskedelem versenyképesenudműködő szolgáltató ágazat, míg a társadalmi, elsősorban közegészségügyi szempontból veszélyesudrészét jogszabályok hálójával tartják távol a piacuktól. A kelet-európai országok hasonló vizsgálataudkijelölte az egyik legfontosabb fejlesztési irányát is, hiszen azt mutatta, hogy mind a külkereskedelmiudlogisztika, mind a jogszabályi védelem terén van mit tanulnunk a régi tagállamoktól. = The main purpose of our study was to provide an overview of the export growth trends in theudHungarian agri-food sector over the last decade and to indentify the obstacles hindering the sector’suddevelopment. We used constant market share (CMS) analysis to break down the changes in exportudgrowth into components. Almost without exception, the increasing market size accounted for most ofudthe export growth. The commodity (composition) and competitiveness effect aspects produced variedudresults and were not so positive. This showed that the Hungarian export structure was less adaptiveudto changes in demand in the target export markets. Our research also showed that for westernudEuropean Union member states the national technical regulations density rankings (calculated fromudthe TRIS database) were nearly the opposite of the trade logistics efficiency (cost, duration and documentudnumber) rankings. In other words the ‘old’ EU member states have developed a competitivelyudoperating service sector of foreign trade logistics and at the same time created an efficient safetyudnet of regulations controlling the import of products that could harm the interests of society (mainlyudaddressing public health, sanitary and phytosanitary risks). Confirming the recommendations of theudstudy, a similar analysis for the eastern European Union member states as it showed that in both areasud(logistics efficiency and the effective use of legal protection) there is still lot that can be learned fromudthe ‘old’ member states.
