We report the presence of nephrite jade, a semiprecious gemstone, in the Ronda peridotites (BeticCordilleras, southern Spain). They occur as pods and discontinuous veins and developed bymetasomatism in the reaction zones between granite dykes and partially serpentinized country rocks
