The factorymen have trouble by the heavy wear of the driving pinions on the draft rolIers. It was not reported about this problems and it is not distinct about the twisting moment on the roller during draft. We measured the twisting moment on the roller by the Hopkinson's twisting dynamometer， and calculated the strength of driving pinions
