Taxonomy and Host Associations of Some Parasitic Copepods (Crustacea) from Pelagic Teleost Fishes

DURING THE SPRING OF 1963 the senior authorwas fortunate enough to participate in thesecond cruise of the United States ResearchVessel "Anton Bruun" during the InternationalIndian Ocean Expedition. This paper is ananalysis made of the copepod parasites collectedfrom pelagic teleost fishes, other than istiophorids,during this cruise. The copepods collectedfrom both elasmobranch fishes andistiophorid teleosts were given to Dr. RogerCressey of the Smithsonian Institution.
