Objective. We performed the ecological-andhygienicudassessment of the state of water supply,udincluding a quality of drinking water for the urbanudpopulation of the Rivne oblast, by sanitary-andchemicaludand sanitary-and-microbiological indicators,udtendencies in dynamics.udMaterials and methods.In our study we used theudmaterials of the WHO, the State Sanitary-andEpidemiological Service of Ukraine, as well as the results of the laboratory investigations of drinking water samples from the sources and the networks of centralized water pipelines in the settlements of the Rivne oblast.udResults. A systematization and analysis of the dataudof drinking water quality, carried separately fromudthe sources and the network of centralized water—udpipes to the urban population in the regions of theudRivne oblast in the period from 1999 to 2015, wasudperformed in the study. There was a disparity ofudsanitary norms and rules in the operation of centralizedudwater pipes mainly due to the non-observanceudof sanitary protection zones of waterudsources, lack of necessary complex of treatmentudfacilities and sewage treatment plants.udA percentage of the non-conformance of drinkingudwater samples from the sources and the network ofudcentralized water supply by sanitary and chemicaludindicators increased 1.6 times in dynamics overudthe period under study. At the same time, auddiscrepancy between drinking water samplesudand microbiological indicators increasedud(almost 4-fold) last years.
