У статті з’ясовано, як закріплено і передано комунікативнийudобразudгендерногоudнасильстваudвudтелесеріалах,udіudнавпаки,udякudіudчомуudсуспільство,udкультураudдозволяютьudзберігатиudнасильствоududв самому дискурсі телесеріалу. Зроблено висновок,udщо не варто безапеляційно усувати складні і болючі темиudнасильства із телесеріалів. Підкреслюється, що їхня художняududінтерпретація допоможе почати новий діалог у сучаснійudкультурі про повагу до індивідуальної неповторності людськоїudособистості,udвключаючиudїїudгендернуudідентичність.udЗаudцихududумовudдискурсudнасильстваudна телебаченніudстанеudіншим. (The article revealed how the communicative image of genderudviolence in television series is fixed and transferred, and conversely,ududhow and why society and culture can store the violenceudin the television series discourse. Television is a social institutionudbecause of its features: daily routine availability, existence in theudarea of psychological proximity to the viewer. It is one of the mostudimportant factors influencing the development of the individual.udMedia violence plays the tangible role in this process, whichudis not only psychological but also social and philosophical issue.udThis is a problem of society that takes violence as an aesthetic and instrumental value. Gender-based violence is a social phenomenon,ududcomplex, diverse in structure, which was well formedudbefore civilized society. In the mass consciousness the genderbasedudviolenceudisudoftenudreducedudtoudtheudstereotypeudofudphysicaludabuseududofududmen over women. This stereotype has been gladly reproducedudby showrunners. But this is a narrow one-sided approach. In fact,udgender-based violence in any society and in any polity is a socioculturalududphenomenon especially in their motivations and consequences.udBeinguduniversal,ududit exists in various forms in almost alludspheres of life.udBut it is not advisable to categorically deny the difficult andudpainful themes of violence. It is important that their creative interpretationudwilludinitiateudaudnewuddialogueudinudcontemporaryudculture.udIfududtheuddiscourseudofudhowudgenderudstereotypesudgiveudriseudtoudviolenceudandududabuseududcould be changed in the television series cinematic trendudin the direction of tolerance, respect for the individuality of theudhuman person, including its gender identity, then, perhaps, the illuminationudof violence on television will be different)
