Стаття присвячена порівняльним фразеологічним одиницям німецької мови. Розглядається проблема національно-культурної специфіки фразеологічної одиниці. Аналізується образ-еталон як основа порівняльних фразеологізмів та типи фразеологічних порівнянь. Іншим важливим аспектом дослідження є ступінь мотивованості образної структури фразеологізму. Особливий інтерес становить процес актуалізації певних символів (образів, еталонів) вudпорівняльних фразеологізмах німецької та української мови.ud(The article is devoted to comparative phraseological units of German language. The problem of national and cultural specificity of phraseological units is analyzed. For the time being, phraseological system of any language is viewed as the most nationally-determined and specific phenomenon. Within linguistic-cultural approach to this question, national and cultural uniqueness of phraseological units is expressed in the presence of some extra-linguistic component in the meaning of a word.udThis component is always conveyed by some models, images or even symbols. It is caused by certain factors which are specific to a particular culture. They are: national traditions, customs, rituals, beliefs, history etc.udThe article also dwells upon the analysis of image (model) as the basis of comparative phraseological units and upon the types of comparison, which are subdivided into «physiological» and «psychological» ones. The features of images (models) of comparative phraseological units are distinguished between motivated (determinative, characteristic) and non-motivated.)udAnother very important aspect of this research is the degree of motivation of image-bearing structure of phraseological units. The process of actualization of certain symbols (images, models) in comparative phraseological units of German and Ukrainianudlanguage is of particular interest. )
