摘要

У статті здійснено спробу систематизації різних розуміньududі використань поняття “зіткнення культур”, стосованогоududв окремих суспільних науках – антропології, соціології,udполітологіїudтаudміжкультурнійudкомунікації.udВизначеноududсемантичніudвідносиниudпоняттяud“зіткненняudкультур”udізudпоняттями,udякіudописуютьudподібніudявищаudйudпроцесиud–udкультурногоududконтакту, культурного конфлікту, зіткнення цивілізаційududi акультурації. У висновках окреслено можливості йudобмеження у стосуванні поняття “зіткнення культур” уudсоціальних дослідженнях, які зосереджуються на перебігуudі наслідках контакту між індивідами і групами з різнимиudкультурними ідентичностями (The paper attempts to systematize different understandingsudand usages of the notion of the clash of cultures applied inudparticular social sciences, including anthropology, sociology,udpolitical science and intercultural communication. The semanticudrelations between the notion of the clash of cultures and theudnotions describing similar phenomena and processes, suchudas cultural contact, cultural conflict, the clash of civilizationsudand acculturation, are preliminary defined.
