摘要

The Internet has become one of the things that are important in future communication development . One of the internet facility is electronic mail, or better known as e-mail. E-mail facilitiy is easy to use and inexpensive resulted in many e-mails that contain advertising and promotion business into the user's email inbox. This E-mail is called spam mail. To prevent, we can build a software that is useful to filtering spam e-mail in user�s inbox. spam filter on this final algorithm, called Naive Bayes classifier. This method was chosen not only it is the latest development of programming spam filters, but also this algorithm has higher accuracy compared with previous algorithms (eg, NN Classifier). Using the Java Programming, spam filter program with Naive Bayes classifier algorithm has been successfully created . With this program performed several experiments that proved that this algorithm is able to identify spam, with some terms and conditions, more accurately. Preparation courses for email classification system can be done two ways, namely the classification system can operate on the mail client (offline) and the mail server (online).
