We introduce a UML-based notation for graphically modelingudsystems’ security aspects in a simple and intuitiveudway and a model-driven process that transforms graphicaludspecifications of access control policies in XACML. TheseudXACML policies are then translated in FACPL, a policyudlanguage with a formal semantics, and the resulting policiesudare evaluated by means of a Java-based software tool.
